I find this "recipe" embarrassing. We are fans of real Mexican tacos that don't use these kinds of spice blends. That said, there's nothing wrong with the flavours and the blend can be used to make a dip or to season a soup or stew. Or, if you like American style ground beef tacos with cheddar cheese like our youngest, it's best to know what the ingredients are and be able to tweak them to your tastes. Vegan or vegetarian? Use the blend to season some crumbled tofu or drained, canned beans. Make Taco Tuesday your way.
2T = 1 packet of store bought 'taco' seasoning.
Blend/grind all the spices in a clean coffee grinder until fairly fine.
Brown 450g/1lb ground beef or crumbled firm tofu or a couple of cans of drained cannellini beans, add a few tablespoons of water (possibly some crushed tomatoes and/or some tomato paste) and 2T seasoning. Cook until well mixed and dry-ish.
Mix 1T seasoning into 1/2c sour cream (dairy or non) or greek yogurt. You can add some chopped tomatoes, minced fresh chilis, onion and cilantro (or a T or 2 of salsa) and let sit to blesh for at least an hour.
