Wakame (Seaweed) Salad

Ingredients
  • 5 grams dried cut wakame (maybe 2T?)
  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds (to garnish, optional)
Instructions
  1. Soak the wakame in water to cover for 15-30 minutes - put it in a bigger bowl than you think, it will expand dramatically!

  2. While it's soaking, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil to make a dressing.

  3. Squeeze the water out of the wakame and mix the dressing in. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve or keep at room temperature for a couple of hours if you're making it in advance.
